I grew up on Hvar, spending summers in the lavender fields and learning island life the way locals do — early mornings, hard work, and simple routines. From time to time, travelers would join us, curious to see how life really looks beyond postcards.
I’m Stjepan, founder of NoSelfie Hvar Tours. I’ve lived many lives — as a professor, skipper, journalist, waiter, librarian, and cook — before coming back home to do what feels right. Today, I create tours that go deeper than sightseeing—walking, tasting, and exploring Hvar as it actually is: raw, authentic, and simply amazing!

Stjepan carefully described the architecture and the culture, which was very much appreciated. Afterwards, via van, we visited several other places on the island. Of particular interest was the village of Velo Grablje, where Stjepan introduced us to a producer of lavender oil who took us on a tour of his facility. We also very much enjoyed the walk through Stari Grad and Jelsa. A most enjoyable and enriching day. Highly recommended."
